Police were elated when they found a cannon that had been customised in order to fire packets of marijuana across the border into California from the city of Mexicali. The plastic pipe and metal tank was attached to a old car engine which it used to compress air and shoot out “bankies” to expectant dealers in the US.
This contraption was able to discharge cylinders of drugs that weighed up to 13 kilograms. When US officers came across bags of fallen reefer last week the Mexican police confiscated the contraption and the stock of drugs. Mexican police stated that this was one of many inventive devices they had found near the border in the recent years.
