Kristina Rei from Russia clearly never watched that Absolutely Fabulous episode where Eddie tells Patsy that your lips should always be smaller than your face. She has just had her 100th botox injection – bringing her total expenses on these procedures to R50 000 so far. Her quest is twofold: to emulate cartoon diva Jessica Rabbit, and have the world’s biggest pout.

Rei says thin lips made her look ugly and thought looking like a cartoon character would make her more beautiful. And she is very happy about the results:
I think I look fantastic and it makes me happy. Sometimes strangers shout names at me in the street – like big lips – but I don’t care. I want to go more extreme. I want to look like a cartoon character. I am addicted to it, I love it.
