Two Canadian film students, Walter Woodman and Patrick Cederberg had the idea to create a film that takes place solely on the protagonist’s computer screen. Their short-film, ‘Noah’ debuted at the Toronto International FIlm Festival, and it captures the lack of real connection between people in the digital age we live in.
Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom premiered on Saturday at the Toronto International Film Festival, and received a 10 minute standing ovation when it was all said and done. Actor Deon Lotz, said it was an honour to be in the movie, adding it was a proudly South African moment.
