The Sochi Winter Olympic has provided us with a couple of momentous fails that we will cherish until the next games. The couple that stand out were the no loo fishing allowed sign, the double toilet fiasco and the Opening Ceremony’s Olympic ring mechanical failure. The Russians however did show they saw the comedy in their errors during the Closing Ceremony.
The last available spot in the Ski Cross semifinals was decided by a photo finish. What makes it so awesome was that the three contestants vying for the coveted place in the semifinals all crashed over the finishing line.
Russian hearts were shattered after figure skating prodigy Yulia Lipnitskaya, fell during her short program routine on Wednesday. The 15-year-old Russian was the breakout star of the Sochi Olympics last week when she dazzled the world with her incredible talent.
