Formula One race cars are intended for many things – being awesome, making loud noises, giving Germans something to do. Driving on snow is not one of them. In spite of that, Andy Gülden equipped one with snow tires and drove it around the snow-covered race tracks of the famously challenging Nürburgring in Germany. Madness.
As you are well aware, the last few days have been somewhat of a nightmare for the many who’ve been stuck in cars along the N3 and Van Reenen’s pass. We are simply not used to snow and were certainly not prepared. But it wasn’t all doom and gloom, as this video illustrates.
“When it snows in East London” is a bit like saying “When hell freezes over”. That is, it never happens (not what you thought I was saying). But this week, the windy city has experienced unusually low temperatures coupled with unbelievable snowfall.
