Danish film director Lars Von Trier has a hard time compromising his vision, so it comes as no surprise that Von Trier’s most recent endeavour ‘Nymphomaniac’ is five hours long. Selected press got their hands on an abridged and censored four hour version, and although it’s too early to say, it seems to be faring well, with The Telegraph’s Tim Robey giving it four out of five stars.
