Rodriguez is back on everyone’s mind since the brilliant documentary Searching for Sugar Man was released. We’re all stoked that he has just announced that he will be performing two concerts in February next year.
I’ve chatted to you before about this film. It’s a documentary made in South Africa and I personally believe it could win an Oscar. It went mental at Sundance and tells the tale of Roriguez, the American singer who was bigger than Elvis in SA, but didn’t shift more than a handful of albums in the States. Watch this trailer.
