Jozi ain’t looking so pretty as the strike hits the end of its second week and the city’s rubbish is yet to be picked up.
Jozi’s rubbish is spilling everywhere and there doesn’t seem to be a solution to the problem to be implemented anytime soon.
Municipal workers are not exactly happy with the city of Cape Town right now. Today they took to the streets in a messy display of dissatisfaction.
Large pieces of rubbish have slowly been collecting on the ocean’s floor, buried thousands of meters below. These objects will take years to decompose – a lot longer than trash on land due to the poor conditions of the deep.
