The Stockholm riots have reached their fifth day. On Sunday a 69-year-old man waving a machete was shot dead in his apartment by police claiming it was an act of self defense, this is reportedly the reason for the riots.
Sunday night saw the start of extremely violent riots in the Carlisle Circus area of Belfast. The riots were a result of sectarian clashes, and are linked to a republican parade that took place nearby a loyalist protest.
