Flying around Mount Fuji in a self-propelled jetpack is one thing – but wearing nothing but some material, and jumping off a cliff is totally different. In fact, after seeing Jeb Corliss’s major wingsuit accident, doing a wingsuit jump is patently insane.
Welcome to Friday. Here’s a guy jumping off the top of a mountain, flying down the slopes with a wing suit, and gliding on to the service of a lake for his landing. The jump took place at Lake Garda in Italy on September 30th 2013. Raphael Dumont, the guy who nailed it, has over 600 flights under his belt.
American wingsuit pilot, Jeb Corliss, performed a death defying stunt this weekend in China’s Zhejiang Province. He jumped out a helicopter and flew through a narrow crevasse in the Langshan Mountain. The stunt was dubbed ‘The Flying Dagger.’
