Google Japan have created one of the craziest online Chrome experiences yet. This experiment allows you to turn your favourite websites into 3D mazes that you can play in. The Chrome World Maze is similar to the maze games you used to play and dominate at the arcade as a young whipper-snapper, except now you’re using your iPhone as a […]
Finally, Google have stepped it up and delivered the kind of awesomeness we’ve come to expect from them! Their initial Olympic doodle was a bit of let down, offering no real interaction or fun Easter Eggs, today’s however is right up there with the best of them.
At the risk of sounding like a complete kill-joy, I just need to clear this up. I don’t mind a quick flurry on a console every once in a while, but I just can’t stand it when it’s referred to as driving or driving simulation. It’s like saying a war game is war simulation. I imagine if you ask a racing driver what he thinks of Need For Speed 13, he will say the same thing.

It’s called 8-bit Invader. The initial screening was for the 5th anniversary of Tomas Bata University’s department of visual arts in Zlín, Czech Republic.
A study done by some reputable people has found the average video gamer to be around 37. Quick question: who do you picture when you think about a 37 year-old gamer? Does it involve someone who has yet to lose his virginity, or someone who can actually speak Klingon? You’d be wrong. The study cites more parents playing games with their children as main reason.
And now I don’t want to live on this planet anymore. Around 3,000 words have been added this year in the “most comprehensive Scrabble wordlist ever produced,” which I would be more upset about if most of my Scrabble games didn’t end in tears and fire. Also included: ‘innit,’ ‘thang,’ ‘fansite,’ and ‘Facebook.’
