Forest Whitaker might be an accomplished actor, but audiences are trying to figure out how he suits the role of Desmond Tutu in ‘The Forgiven’.
Zulu premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday. The film is a crime thriller, where Whitaker plays a cop searching for the murderer of a white teenage boy and discovers the “wounds of post-apartheid South Africa.” Oscar winning actor Forest Whitaker met with Zulu gangs to better prepare himself for this role.
