Forbes has released their Cash Kings 2013 list – a list of the world’s highest paid hip hop artists and rappers. We must say, we aren’t surprised by the list considering how much bling these guys flash on a day-today basis.
Madonna has topped the latest celebrity earnings list, which has raised more than a few pairs of eyebrows considering that her latest album flopped. So how did she make a whopping $125 million between June 2012 and June 2013 you ask?
Gisele Bündchen is currently enjoying pole position on the anual earning’s list for models for the seventh year in a row. Bündchen earned $42 million this year, seven times as much as second-place Miranda Kerr. That’s a hefty sum, but it’s also $3 million less than last year for the Brazilian, which is exactly the same figure by which Kerr’s earnings improved from last year.

Forbes Magazine has released its official list of highest-paid athletes of 2012. The net worth of these athletes not only comprises of their commissions from matches and games, but also from their numerous endorsements and ad campaigns, bonuses and other salaries for the past 12 months.
Forbes on Tuesday released its list of the 100 highest paid athletes, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., nicknamed “Money,” is in the top spot with earnings of $85 million. He is a solid 23 million ahead of second placed Manny Pacquiao, and miles ahead of the only South African on the list, Ernie Els, who is in 91st place with earnings of $17,4 million.
Forbes.com released a list of Africa’s 20 most powerful business people yesterday (they do like a list over there at Forbes) and it wasn’t too hard to pick up a trend on the list of the continent’s commercial high flyers – no less than 12 of them are South African.
