Following a recent survey, the chances that someone is a Manchester United supporter are now as great as one in ten. That’s almost 660 million people around the world.
France Football magazine has released this year’s list of the world’s highest-earning soccer players – Rooney earned $32,6 million for a single goal, and Samuel Eto’o got $37 million for moving to Russia. It’s been a weird sort of season. What does one say of the beautiful football, the young talent and complete lack of any sort of silverware in the last six seasons?
