South African accent voted second sexiest in the world, King Charles’ funeral plans reportedly being updated, South African goat sells for more than R1-million, The Cape ‘won’t split from SA’, and Emma Stone would like to be called by her real name.
How a small Free State town kissed load-shedding goodbye, Meet the brand-new Miss World 2024, Record breaking British Formula 1 rookie Oliver Bearman, TikTok crackdown shifts into overdrive, and What is ‘chroming’?
Apple overtakes Samsung, Emma Stone defends ‘honest’ sex scenes, Firewall change takes down SAPS network, Rand hits over R19 to the dollar, and LIFT named ‘best new airline brand’ by Global Brands Magazine.
It sounds all but confirmed to be a new favourite (and very bizarre) show.
Perhaps because Emma Stone threaten to punch a baby in a hilariously candid scene?
The teaser trailer for a new series, starring Stone and a slightly less stout Hill, has just come out, and it’s both ambitious and mind-boggling. Have a look.
Emma Stone is absolutely delightful – if not a little crazy – in her debut music video for Arcade Fire’s Will Butler.
It’s not exactly news that Jim Carrey is an ‘out there’ sort of guy, something made obvious in his video tribute to actress Emma Stone. It seems he might be going off the rails.
There is plenty of buzz around the new Woody Allen movie, set to be released in the US towards the end of July. Here’s the trailer for ‘Irrational Man’.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has got a lot to live up to. For starters, it follows Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man franchise, which only really ran out of web in Spider-Man 3. Second, it’s a sequel following a strong series reboot. Thirdly, the title The Amazing Spider-Man 2 puts a bit of pressure to keep it well, amazing. More to the point, it’s […]
Whatever your reservations about the new Spider-Man remake, The Amazing Spider-Man delivers the goods. Sam Raimi’s version set the standard with Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker in a slick CGI action fest for comic book fans. Marc Webb takes the same formula and reinterprets the story for a more psychological, dramatic take on Parker and his demons.
The Amazing Spider-Man (aka the amazing, if unnecessary, reboot) will be upon us in July, and producers, Marvel, are kicking the viral marketing campaign into high gear from the get go with this news report from “Daily Bugle News” concerning a webbed menace that is plagueing New York city, and no, it’s not one of the Kardashians in town to promote a new relationship bust up, it’s Spider-Man!
Sure, Marvel dropped their ‘Avengers’ trailer during the super bowl too, but if there’s one thing Marvel likes it’s making money, and nothing makes money like overstimulated comic book movie fans. And this trailer for Marc Webb’s ‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ starring Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone, is very, very stimulating.
The overwhelming flop that was Spider-Man 3 must have sparked serious hatred amongst die-hard fans of the comics. By all accounts it was one of the lamest movies ever produced, with as much caseoso as each of Christopher Reeves’ Superman films and 10 seasons of Smallville combined. That said, a reboot of Spider-Man is set for release next year and the title and promo-picture have been released.
Temptress, tart, floozy, flirt, cheap, tramp, harlot, trollop, easy, ho’… are just some of the endearing terms you’ll hear being thrown around the playground these days. Pubescent promiscuity is nothing new – think back to that adult movie Kids or a little further back to Sodom and Gomorrah.
So this is sort of interesting – some photos have appeared of Emma Stone with her new blonde get-up, in preparation for the Gwen Stacey role in Spider-Man Whatever. What’s interesting is that a number of people have commented on how much she looks like a Steve Ditko character – Ditko being Spider-Man’s co-creator.
We love mary jane. Spider-Man loves Mary Jane. We love Spider-Man. In particular, we love Emma Stone, the angel from Zombieland and Superbad, who’ll be playing Peter Parker’s love interest in the rebooted Spider-Man film.
There are some pictures of her. You might want to keep your web shooters handy.
