Our favourite spot in the Franschhoek Winelands is currently enjoying its two-month truffle season, which means there’s no better time to experience these rare delicacies at their freshest and most flavourful.
According to its definition, brunch is a mix between breakfast and lunch and can extend to 3PM.
We think we’re so above it all, don’t we? Cape Town locals love to avoid ‘hot-spots;’ during season, as they attempt to ‘avoiding the chaos’ – but the joke’s actually on us.
Sunday lunches can be more than chowing left-overs from the braai the night before, with a great carvery option begging to be explored.

The Eat Out DStv Food Network Restaurant Awards took place in the grand ballroom at the Westin in Cape Town last night. Apart from the prestigious Restaurant of the Year award, several other accolades were also dished out, including Chef of the Year, Best Steakhouse, and the Service Excellence Award.
