Jaco Haasbroek is a designer from Cape Town. This guy designed a t-shirt so cool that it has now been worn twice on one of the biggest TV shows at the moment. The shirt is called “High 5” and it popped up in an episode of Modern Family last month, and again on last Wednesday’s episode. High-five!

It looks like Google is getting ready to reveal a new, more polished interface for Gmail, if only to distract us from the embarrassing quietness we’re seeing on Google+; it remains to be seen whether the overhaul is part of their wider Google+ initiative or not, but visually the interfaces have a lot in common.
Lamborghini has introduced designs for the Aventador LP-700, successor to the Murcielago; it is a sexy car from a sexy company, so it is more or less fitting that the designs are pretty sexy-looking too. It’s Friday, and you need to look at this. Korean designer Eungi Kim assembled a horse-shaped bike frame for the Seoul Cycle Design Competiton and I can’t tell if I hate it or not. It’s horse-shaped, so I approve inherently, but it’s just one rung below the penny farthing on the hipster scale.
