A year ago today, the world lost one of the greatest innovators that ever lived, Steve Jobs. In honour of his memory, Apple compiled a touching video montage looking at some of his career highlights.
Environmental activist group, Greenpeace staged a protest outside tech giant, Apple’s head office in Cupertino yesterday. The protest was a call for Apple to start powering its data centers with greener energy, and to move away from coal. They did this is the strangest way possible – by live tweeting from a “pod” dropped outside their HQ.
A few months ago Apple announced their plans for their new headquarters in the Silicon Valley, and submitted plans to the Cupertino City Council. The late Steve Jobs claimed the spaceship-like structure would be “the best office building in the world”, and judging by these recently released documents, he wasn’t kidding.
