Saint Champagne Bar & Lounge, located in the Cape Town CBD, took to social media to shame customers who repeatedly failed to settle their bills.
An irate customer shared a picture of the bill on Facebook, which has since caused quite a stir.
Saul Zelaznog from Reno, Nevada thought it would be okay if he ordered, ate and then left without paying the bill at Brewer’s Cabinet restaurant. Unlucky for Zalaznog, the restaurant posted a wanted picture of him on Facebook. Zalaznog was eventually arrested, not specifically for failure to pay the bill, but for violating his probation.
While this chap’s bill at Liverpool’s Playground nightclub included a R1.5 million bottle of bubbly, I am even more impressed with the 42 cans of Pussy energy drink which he included in that haul. Since 9/11, flying has sucked. For all of the wrong reasons, flight security has become paranoid and despotic, and nowhere worse than the USA – where TSA agents have manhandled infants and the infirm in ‘the war on terror.’ So it’s nice to see that the Texas House of Representatives just banned TSA searches without probable cause.
