It’s amazing how far people will go to take offence these days, with East Coast Radio fined for discussing what one parent considered inappropriate.
According to the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of SA (BCCSA), MultiChoice has been handed a R10,000 fine for an advert that promoted the ‘Hannibal’ television series. During an Easter radio interview, comedian Nik Rabinowitz upset some listeners with his jokes. When Gareth Cliff said on his show that “most 22-year-olds are laying on their backs with their legs open at 22, or else they are drinking” he wasn’t being a hater. I have watched “The Naked News” but once and I really do not understand why people kicked up such a fuss. It’s simply a crappy magazine show, but with ugly naked chicks presenting it (except for the nerdy girl, she’s beautiful). Thankfully the Broadcasting Complaints Commission (BCCSA) has said that the show is not degrading to women.
