This is quite something. During the 1950’s, the US conducted various atomic tests. Some of those took place underwater, and this archive footage shows the raw power of atomic energy. Pat Bradley was one of the cameramen who documented the US atomic tests during that time, codenamed the Wahoo and Umbrella underwater explosions. He narrates […]
A suspected drunk driver has been caught on camera crashing into a petrol pump at a filling station in Kroonstad. As you’ll see from the footage, the driver literally missed crushing the petrol attendant to death by milliseconds. But unbelievably no one was injured. The driver, identified as one Molefi Mokoena, then proceeded to belly-flop out his car window before trying to escape. He was however quickly apprehended by witnesses and appeared in the Kroonstad Magistrate’s court on charges of drunk driving.
A crap film is the cause of two attacks on American embassies in Libya and Eygpt. Followers of an ultra-traditionalist approach to Islam are very pissed about a video called the “The Innocence of Muslims” that not only portrays the prophet Mohammed, but ridicules him as a homosexual, an advocate of paedophilia, and shows him having sex.
Reuters has just reported that the US ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on Tuesday in the Libyan city of Benghazi.
I always forget about brandy. When I want a spirit straight, I end up choosing whiskey. But after a recent tasting of brandies by Distell, I am going to have to start changing my ordering tactics.
Robots have an unfortunate rep as cold, heartless machines designed with the express purpose of crushing, destroying or otherwise permanently rearranging the makeup or anything smaller or weaker than themselves. A newly released video however casts the mechanical beings in a different light, one which shows that they are capable of immense finesse, so much so that they could pick a flower without damaging it at all.
This is seriously creepy. When Tracy, a single mother of five, heard strange noises coming from her roof, it was only natural to assume that some kind of animal had managed to find its way in there. Must have been quite a shock to find the man that she broke up with 12 years ago.
Looking his militant best, all clad in ANC Youth League colours, topped off with a militant beret, Julius Malema found himself on CNN with Christiane Amanpour yesterday.

Chris Brown recently got a new tattoo on his neck that suspiciously looks like a beat up female – Rihanna to be more exact. As you’ll remember, he punched and choked Rihanna back in 2009. So would this new tattoo be an ironic stab at all the outrage surrounding it? Or is it the face of another female he assaulted recently? Apparently, none of the above. Chris claims it is mere coincidence and that the tattoo is a Mexican “sugar skull” design. Check it out inside.
I’m not going to bore you with promo-speak and some kind of sales pitch. I’m going to give it to you straight – so listen up – please, it’s important. The long-time reading 2oceansvibers out there will know that I converted over to Apple Mac a few years ago and I swore never to go […]
People of Pyongyang, rejoice! No longer will you be confined to dreary offices, with no way of de-stressing from your revolutionary work. Praise be to the Young General, for his great vision and the gift of Physical Exercise Centre!
By now, you have no doubt at least heard about 50 Shades of Grey, the erotic adult fiction that has the literary world all hot and bothered. Coming from relative obscurity, the books were first released just more than a year ago and almost instantly shot to best-seller status, becoming the fastest-selling paperbacks of all time. However, the books did more than just fluster a few cheeks; they ushered in a real-life sexual revolution.

“Man’s best friend” takes on a whole new meaning after you read this amazing story. If you thought your dog was loyal, you’ve got nothing on this canine, who rescued his owner’s life – even though it would mean that he’d have to sacrifice his own.

Derick Watts and The Sunday Blues burst onto the online comedy scene last year with their first single “Braaiday”, a parody of Rebecca Black’s “Friday”. That was soon followed by the very popular “Car Guard Song”, however, like so many before them, soon the pressure of being epic celebrities became too much. This exclusive video looks at the rise and fall, and rise again of the best online parody duo, ever.
