50 000 Greek Protesters Demonstrate Against German Chancellor [GALLERY]

About 50 000 demonstrators defied a ban on protests yesterday in Greece to voice their displeasure with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. She is currently in the country to meet with Greek leaders who are searching for a new package of budget cuts. They need this in order to secure bail-out funds – largely underwritten by the German taxpayer.

Over the past 11 years, a Women on Waves ship has visited Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Spain, sparking protests in each country from pro-life groups. Rebecca Gomperts, founder of the non-profit orginasation, and her team are sailing to a Muslim country for the first time, to raise awareness about women’s health, and specifically the drug misoprostol.

Outrage Over Chinese Beggars In Cages At Religious Festival [GALLERY]

In order to keep them from “ruining the experience for visitors”, organisers of the annual temple fair in Nanchang, China, have ordered beggars to stay in purposely built cages. Those beggars not willing to comply with this are simply banished from the city by officials. The zoo-like structures are so small that adults are unable to stand up inside them. A man who died recently was found to have been stashing away gold bars worth $7 million under his house, while he only had $200 in his bank account. Walter Samaszko Jr., 69, of Carson city Nevada was also hoarding some rare gold coins, stocks, and a whole bunch of crap.

Sunday night saw the start of extremely violent riots in the Carlisle Circus area of Belfast. The riots were a result of sectarian clashes, and are linked to a republican parade that took place nearby a loyalist protest. Rioters hurled petrol bombs, stones, bottles, fireworks and rocks toward police lines. They even hijacked a van before pushing it towards police lines!

They were found in their apartment with multiple stab wounds, and the words “Free! Pussy Riot” [sic] painted on the wall in what police believe were the victims’ blood.

Last year saw a lot of incidents where UK public transport users were being racially abused by fellow commuters. Some of these moments even got caught on camera and went viral. The one thing all the offenders had in common was the fact that they were white, British, and clearly had no love for anyone else trying to live in “their country.” But the tables are turned in this latest video. This is a sad, tragic day for humanity. Anders Behring Breivik – the guy who massacred 77 people (the majority of them teenagers) in Norway last year – is busy being sentenced as we speak. The court has found him to be sane and sentenced him to a mere 21 years in prison, MINUS the 445 days he already spent in custody. Upon hearing his fate, he smiled as this is exactly what he was hoping for.
