Followers of an ultra-traditionalist approach to Islam are very pissed about a video called the “The Innocence of Muslims” that not only portrays the prophet Mohammed, but ridicules him as a homosexual, an advocate of paedophilia, and shows him having sex.

A nanny, who worked for one of Muammar Gaddafi’s sons, has been found abandoned in a room at one of the family’s luxury seaside villas in western Tripoli. She is covered in weeping scabs after boiling water was poured over her head by one of Gaddafi’s daughter-in-laws. Why? The nanny refused to beat the woman’s daughter.

Yes, it seems as if the Lockerbie bomber, Abdel Basset al-Megrahi is comatose, near death and will probably take the secrets of the attack on Pan Am Flight 103 with him soon. CNN found al-Megrahi in his palatial Tripoli villa on Sunday, surviving on oxygen and an intravenous drip, under the care of his family.

Yesterday, while the rebels overran Bab al-Aziziya compound in Tripoli, they also got their first taste of how their defunct dictatorial leader lived. While some chose to cruise around in the colonel’s preferred mode of transport: the golf cart, others had a good look-and-loot of Gaddafi’s personal residence’s. There’s a merry-go-round and even glass casings around his deceased daughter’s stuff.

A European government official has claimed that Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi is travelling between Tripoli’s hospitals at night to elude bombing raids by NATO jets. The official has said that he is doing this because he knows that the hospitals are something that the air raids will not target.

The Hammerl Family’s Open Letter To President Zuma

The family of slain photographer Anton Hammerl have published the letter that they have written to President Jacob Zuma ahead of his trip to Libya for “discussions” with Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi next week. It’s hoped that this will put further pressure on Zuma to ensure the secure return of Hammerl’s remains to South Africa.
