“Hitman Network” is a site that hires out three hitmen who are willing to kill anyone who isn’t under 16 or a major politician (nice morals there – what about a 17 year-old disabled chap, that’s a-okay?). What’s more, these guys won’t do it for real cash. Nah – they want bitcoins.
On Wednesday we dropped the trailer of the new film Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as two lost astronauts who are stuck in space, forced to adventure into the void and find salvation. If you’re expecting the iPad 5 to be a revolutionary device that will change the way we do everything – think again. Eight months ago, a massive meteor exploded over Russia (what with Russia being so frikkin’ massive, it was bound to happen), and the world was enraptured by images and videos of the alien rock streaking across the Russian sky. But recently, a team of divers hit the motherload – and hauled up one of the biggest meteorites of all time.
Much like Genghis Khan did in the in the early 1100’s, the Candy Crush Saga game is taking over the world, one woman at a time. The game is a variation of the “match-three” game format, similar to Bejeweled, where players attempt to make connections between three candies of the same colour. Sound boring? Some women might disagree – they’re spending £400,000 a day on this game.
The low-battery icon has become a symbolic image of how smartphones have developed. Yes, our cellphones have come in leaps and bounds since the humble beginnings of the Nokia 3310. Thousands of iOS7 users have noted a troubling development on the iMessage front – a lot of messages aren’t getting sent. Usually, you can tell whether your iMessage is stuck in limbo by the persisting presence of the “Sending…” tab at the top of the message thread. Robots’ natural enemies are stairs. Climbing up and down stairs is something we as humans have pretty much mastered, but robots are finding it a touch more difficult. These M-Blocks, created by the brainiacs at MIT, would have no problem with stairs though. These modular robots can jump though the air, catch onto each other, spin and roll around to form new shapes, all with no external moving parts.
