After the first round of the IPL auction quite a few of the SA players available are still up for grabs at this year’s auction. The big winner so far is Yuvraj Singh, with Royal Challengers Bangalore buying him for a cool $2.33 million. The second highest price tag was for Dinesh Karthik. The Delhi Daredevils bought him for $2.08 million.

Former first-class South African cricketer, Darryn Randall, has died after he was struck on the head by a cricket ball. Randall, 32, was hit on the side of the head before he collapsed. He was batting at the time – but it is hasn’t been made clear whether or not he was wearing a helmet.
