I only get to use about 45 words in this excerpt and I going to use them to tell you that I would need at least 100 times that just to come close to explaining the sheer, overwhelming awesomeness of the video you are about to watch. Prepare to be inspired.
At the beginning of the Formula One season, Richard Branson and the owner of low-cost Malaysian airline AirAsia and the F1 team currently known as Lotus, Tony Fernandes, placed a bet that would see the one whose F1 team lost serve as a stewardess on the winner’s airline. Branson lost the bet!
Jeremy Clarkson and the Top Gear team give us an exclusive look into what really goes into the making of The Stig. Come and take a tour around the Stig farm and get to see what really goes on behind the scenes as they reveal The New Stig.
Fantastically funny ad campaign by Arab Dairy for their Panda Cheese, which doesn’t have anything to do with pandas, but don’t let that get in the way of enjoying these videos.
David Thorne needs absolutely no introduction. While we’ve dealt at length with Dave (we’re on a first name basis now) and his hilarious approach to communication, his latest assault on Robert Schaefer over missing businesscard artwork is absolutely outstanding.
That’s right, guys and lady guys. These two mustachio’d men of moor madness are telling you to Tjoon Your Holiday this morning. So don’t be kak, check out the details of how to tune in after the jump, and stand the chance to win one of ten tickets to The Most Amazing Show, Live! at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town.
A brilliant ad campaign promoting the Movember testicular-cancer awareness drive has popped up at Moustaches Make A Difference, reminding us of the fact that moustaches are what make great men great. Check out the full gallery after the jump – it’s awesome.
The BBC has a new show called The Trip, which features two of Britain’s greatest comedians, Gavin & Stacey’s Rob Brydon and Alan Partridge’s Steve Coogan. In this clip, the two try to outdo each other with their Michael Caine impressions and the result is further proof that no one does comedy quite like the Brits.
‘So, you’re in love with one of your friends, but she has a boyfriend and probably wouldn’t have sex with you anyway’ is pretty descriptive, as titles go. You probably don’t need much more to go by than that. It’s funny and you should watch it. The fireman here knows what I’m talking about.
Watch as George Takei calls out former Arkansas School Board member Clint McCance for such charmingly homophobic statements as “I enjoy the fact that [homosexuals] often give each other AIDS and die.” There isn’t any real recovery from being called a douchebag by Captain Sulu.
I don’t know about you but I find this to be rather cruel. I admit, I laughed like I was high, but at the same time, you have to think; Do these poor old geysers actually know what they are singing? And they do not look like they want to take their clothes off…[video]
It’s just too stunning how Nando’s kicks in every time.
Just as a story reaches fever pitch, they pump out a viral ad which circulates like wildfire. It appears in inboxes around the country and the world, and then pops up on blog sites and news sources within days. And somehow, they crack me up every time!
This one being no exception.
How awesome is this guy? A true Celtic fan not realising the camera is on him until his mom gives him the heads up and then the true rock star is unleashed! In 1 min 35 sec this guy is turned into a true rockstar, check out the chick in white grab his ass. [video]
There’ve been a couple of Inception spoofs floating around the interwebs lately, mostly centered on how ridiculously convoluted the plot is. That’s cool and all, but what about the real question – what would you really do if you could mess with people’s heads using a dramatic soundtrack and Ellen Page? This video answers that.
Have you seen these awesome kids who are on a sketch-show called The Saffas? They act like security guards and speak in what is supposed to be a South African accent. It’s actually pretty damn funny. There are a few more at The School of Comedy Television Show. [video]
Last week, malibu showed you how awesome people can be – which is great, but we strive for objectivity here at 2oceansvibe, so here’s a video showing you some of our recent failures. Remember – the only thing better than seeing some cool people is seeing how much cooler you are than other people.
It’s Wednesday morning, and you want to enrich your life by watching some entertaining videos on the internet. Problem: you have a job that demands more attention than you can spare between autotuned versions of that one politician freaking out. Solution: 5secondfilms, hilarious online shorts that don’t waste your time with setup. Advantage: 2oceansvibe.
I want to say that this is one for the laydezz but I must be honest, most guys’ will want to watch this too. Just imagine Jimmy Kimmel, Josh Hartnett, Lenny Kravits, Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, McDreamy and a few other surprises all in one video. [VIDEO]
I wonder how long this fellow had been wearing his nice green T-shirt around his village, without anyone batting an eyelid. Years, I’d say. And they probably still don’t know that old Xqa! on the drums is wearing a very humourous Irish T-shirt. Better yet, a T-shirt with the foulest of words written on it..
Axe Cop is different to every other comic, if for nothing else than it’s written by Malachai Nicolle, whose name probably means nothing to you because he is only five years old! With characters like Avocado Man and Dinosaur Soldier, it’s a shoe-in to become my new favourite thing.
Here we have Galifianakis getting interviewed by radio host Gordon Keith to promote It’s Kind Of A Funny Story – and the awkward pauses and non sequiturs should be familiar to those of you keeping up with your 2oceans assignments.
With The Hangover 2 being filmed I thought it only appropriate that we get to know a bit more about the main actor Zach Galifianakis. Meet his twin brother, Seth Galifianakis.

What could be better than having Chris Rock verbally abuse your ex for breaking up with you? Nothing! Especially when he begins with, “You dirty motherf_ _ _er…”
If you’re trying to tell me that the journo that wrote this piece was NOT aware of what he was doing, then you’re a goddamn fool. Either that, or HE is the goddamn fool for not realising. It’s not often that you can construct a headline as perfectly as that. Our local journos obsession with the worked ‘finger’ gets us going to a certain degree – but nothing like this. Urban dictionary definition of “rimjob” after the jump.
The legendary Canadian actor, Gordon Pinsent, reads us his favorite parts from musical monolith Justin Bieber’s memoirs. Bieber has a tremendous amount to say about his 16 years of experience, and we are grateful for his sharing with us.
I don’t know how many of you watch X Factor (or won’t admit to watching it) but if you have been following the latest season you will be familiar with this character. If not, I give you Wagner.
You can thank me later.
Ace Ventura was groundbreaking, to say the least – the movie as a concept was fresh, but moreso was the formal introduction of Jim Carrey to the world. There were too many great moments to talk about in one article (“like a glove” and “captains log” come to mind), so for now let’s ust enjoy this famous snippet.
Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse shouldn’t be allowed in the same room, let alone allowed to produce comedy together. It’s just to much of genius. And what happens then is something is so funny it becomes dangerous. It puts people’s lives in danger, because it could make their heads explode. Like this video about Parking Patewayo.
Zach sits down with Bruce Willis; one of the stars of the new movie Red, to talk about the 80s and some of the prestigious awards he has been awarded. Damn you have to love it!
