Former Head of Interpol and National Police Commissioner, Jackie Selebi was released from prison on medical parole in 2012 for suffering “a medical condition which is terminal, chronic, progressive and has deteriorated or reached an irreversible state.” His lawyers and doctors cited his failing kidneys as a key indicator that Selebi was on his death bed. Selebi has responded to widespread outrage following his being spotted at a mall over the weekend.

Power FM owner, Given Mkhari says he plans to lay charges of extortion and trespassing against a a 25-year-old media studies student and Vodacom service centre employee who has accused him 0f raping her. The unnamed woman laid the charge of sexual assault against the PowerFM co-founder eight months after the alleged incident. Mkhari says he is the victim of a targeted campaign of harassment.

Radio presenter, Sneha Kothari Mashru, said she survived the horrific Kenyan mall massacre by smothering herself in the blood of a teenage victim to make it look like she was dead. She said the boy died of his injuries while they hid from Al Shabaab militia who stormed the Westgate shopping centre in Nairobi a few days ago. She turned his phone off to stop it from alerting their attackers and came up with the plan to smear herself in his blood and play dead.

A Swedish court has ruled that masturbation in public is acceptable as long as it is not directed at any particular person.This comes with the acquittal of a 65-year-old man who was charged with sexual assault for masturbating on a beach.
