This is hysterical. The US ‘Parents Television Council” (God help us all) has slammed the latest US GQ Magazine for publishing pictures which “border on pedophilia.” And I assure you it’s not to do with the cover! The gaggle of bored ultra-conservatives were referring to a photo shoot the legendary magazine did with the cast of Glee, a high-school-musical type series that is probably also showing on local screens (I wouldn’t know – but can confirm it is on Apple TV). Sunday’s edition of L’Osservatore Romano, the Vatican’s daily broadsheet, declared that ”Not many people know it, and he does everything he can to hide it. But it’s true, Homer J. Simpson is Catholic.” I guess drawing conclusions from nonexistent evidence isn’t entirely new to the region.
