We purposely didn’t mention The TBG in that headline. As snow AND The TBG is a bit too much to handle at one time. But now that I’ve eased you into it, it kind of makes sense. Someone was trying to test The TBG and they untio him, “Can you make it rain?” That’s when […]
“Boom.” Of course, there can only be one reason for this unusual meteorological blessing: The TBG is on the Mountain. Coincidence? I think not. Come on. Don’t be silly. [Headline image source:tablemountain]
The CBS channel in the US has an online presence, which runs all of it’s programming “online.” One of the shows was shot in Cape Town by these guys who cruise around the world. 2oceansviber Justin mailed us asking the question, “is that The TBG at the 05:29 mark?” Well, Justin, we’ve checked out the […]
Look, it is very difficult to say anything polite about the tow truck industry. The same goes for a camel toe. But a 2oceansViber recently snapped some quality humour pics over in Miami of a tow truck company called “Camel Towing & Service”. Very clever – see pics inside.

As The Rugby World Cup draws near, an important part of the psychological preparation of any team is knowing that their nation is behind them. And what could be an easier way of showing your love and support in this age of pressurised, desk-bound work than with the combined tools of the the interwebs, and […]
Some places hold specials. Others hold special events. The EighteenHundred Grill Room is one such place, and what with it perched beneath my beloved residence, the Cape Royale Hotel, I’ve been known to nip in there more regularly than not. They’re laying on the special treatment this winter with a Tapas and Jazz series, happening […]

How many of you caught the story, posted earlier in the day, about a Cape Town advocate who swore at a Cape Town High Court judge, and stormed out of the court room? Look, in no way do we condone his behaviour. Insulting references to another man’s female relatives, most especially The Mother, should never […]
The mankini-clad cyclist who sent South Africa’s cycling community into a heady froth over his BMX and lumo green couture has been identified. But there is so much more to this story than the superficial…

Hear ye, hear ye! Today is Friday. You know what that means. That means that we knock off at 12h00. Do you know why we knock off at 12h00? Because we’re not lying to ourselves. “I”M NOT LYING TO MYSELF.” You shouldn’t either. No one is working productively after 12h00 on a Friday afternoon. The […]

Local video producer, Jaco Wolmarans was lucky enough to engage in a spot of aerial photography and videography recently. He was acting, quite literally, as the wing man (keeping an eye on the horizon for oncoming air traffic) for a colleague of his who was shooting the planes. In between playing lookout he shot this clip.
