SETH ROTHERHAM’S VISITOR’S BOOK
Pieter Dixon – June 2009:
Dear Seth
Just want to take this opportunity to thank you and the Cape Royale for having my english rose and me to stay at your amazing pimped out suite! Was totally impressed the minute we arrived as we were imediately met outside by one of the bell boys who very kindly unpacked the car and proceeded to valet park it.We were then met by the MD Nathan Schmidt who welcomed us and very kindly showed us to your suite!
My shattered nerves!!Expecting a nice room with a lounge, here we walked into a 3 bed luxury appartment, kitted out with everything you could think of and such incredible views, brilliant!
Being Mel’s first time in SA and especially Cape Town, I thought this would sell it to her!
Yip, she loved it!!
Thanks again to Seth and the Cape Royale – we had an absolutely amazing week!
Regards,
Piet Dixon
Dave Thomas – August 2009:
Hey Seth,
I would just like to say thank you SOOO much for allowing Leoni and I to stay in your suite this weekend.
We ate at 1800 on Friday night, and I have to say it was superb. I was very keen for some seafood, but the waiter made specific mention of the steaks, so I followed his recco and I was more than pleasantly surprised. I can recommend the Madagascan Pepper Fillet and any combination of salts that are on offer.
On Saturday we had a late breakfast at Miss K, indulged in a Duo massage at the Equinox Spa, while the wife went shopping with friends, I met some mates in the Waterfront for the rugby and followed it up with a few drinks. What a pleasure to be able to come straight back to the suite instead of having to call GoodFellas J.
I woke up early on Sunday and was treated to a sight I had almost completely forgotten existed: A winter sunrise over the waterfront. It was simply amazing and If I had painted it, no-one would have believed that the sky could be that colour. While I thought that the stadium would be an eyesore, I realized that it is magnificent, and considering the old stadium wasn’t exactly pretty, and having seen the development of the area around the stadium, I realised that we Capetonians are going to have something truly special on our doorstep.
Thanks you very much for this weekend Mate. I owe you big time.
Cheers.
Dave Thomas
Michael and Jen Furter – September 2009:
Dear Seth
It was Oscar Wilde who pointed out that in the modern world we know the price of everything but the value of nothing. Jen and I were truly blessed to recently spend a weekend in the luxurious surrounds of the Cape Royale. This is an establishment modeled on the old-school type where service and facilities deliver true luxury value without the crass and unnecessary glitz one all too often gets these days. Once again, thanks for this rare and most pleasing glimpse into the Seth Rotherham experience.
Best regards
Michael and Jen Furter
John and Roxy Smit and family – January 2010:
Seth,
What can we say….
It all kind of makes sense now.
Lots of love,
John and Rox
Peter and Mandy Lumb – March 2010:
Dear Seth,
WOW! It was absolutely amazing!
We were treated incredibly well, Mandy and I were most impressed. The staff there are great, very relaxed and friendly, and I went and thanked Ryan personally. Dinner at 1800 was fantastic, no choice but a big steak, with a great coriander sauce and a few sprinkles of that salt from around the world infused with “stuff”?! The massage was very cool, albeit a little nerve-racking. I’ve never had one before so I felt a bit fish out of watering. In spite of my virgin voyage of being touched by a stranger, it was definitely the best I’ve ever had. I even went upstairs to the poolbar when Mandy was getting her massage. I was a little embarrassed after ordering my cocktail when I looked at the time saw it was 11 in the morning. The barman didn’t judge, which I appreciated. Good cocktail though.
But it was just great spending time in the room, watching TV, sleeping and just doing a whole lot of nothing.
Thanks for that, it was certainly a well needed break.
