With South Africa’s commercial boom in online fashion shopping and large online retailers subscribing to a ‘more is more’ model, one can easily be overwhelmed by the amount of choice available. Enter PopYaCollar Shop, an online fashion retailer stocking hand-picked garments chosen from boutique shops around Cape Town.
The shop was created by Popyacollar blogger, Sam Walker, who realised that some women prefer boutique shopping, but don’t have the time to get to the store.
Going by the online moniker ‘La Muse’, she explains, “I spent time in and around Cape Town, selecting garments from boutiques like Mungo & Jemima, Jo Carlin, Iracema, Resort and shoes from Coast & Koi. With our express delivery service often delivering the same day (locally) to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and indeed overseas, we take away the pain associated with boutique shopping. Today’s busy woman can’t waste time looking for a shop, then a parking place and then hopefully finding omething that suits/fits her.”
Every garment is delivered in High Street worthy packaging, with an affixed note which reads, ‘Thank you for shopping at PopYaCollar. I hope you enjoy wearing this garment as much as I enjoyed finding it for you – La Muse x”
We’re sure this new niche-style boutique offering will find a happy place online and urge all women to check it out!
