I’m not going to reinvent the wheel with this article. It kind of writes itself – I don’t have to say anything, besides casting your attention to something real in the world.
In Adelaide, Australia, is a well-known university by the name of Flinders University.
As you can imagine with most first-world higher learning facilities, their website is very thorough and even provides a statement from their Vice-Chancellor, who confirms, “We aim high to inspire achievement by our students and all staff – academic and general – to prepare them to meet the challenges and embrace the opportunities of modern life.”
I’m very glad the Vice-Chancellor mentioned “embracing the opportunities of modern life,” because this is actually demonstrated most perfectly by his staff. In particular, one Professor Barbara Baird, who heads up the Department of Women’s Studies at the university.
Check our Professor Barbara Baird’s webpage here.
That’s all I really wanted to show you.
As I said, the article writes itself.
It’s written itself on a number of blogs so far. CLICK HERE for another one I found.
