It’s a bit of a joke really – the LEICA D-Lux 4 camera. The very same camera that you will own if your photograph wins the L’Ormarins Moment photographic competition.
If I may..
The LEICA D-Lux 4
Shame, it’ll be awkward for your friends when you’ve got the best camera. But that’s just the way the cookie crumbles, I guess. Not that they have any idea about how hard core the camera really is. Once you’ve won it, get them to click here to find out more about that camera.
I’ve had a sneak preview of some of the finalists of this year’s L’Ormarins Moment photographic competition and they’re looking pretty good, I’ll be honest. But you know what, I reckon you should put forward that photograph you took – the one that your friends told you looks so cool.
You’ll be surprised what your pic might look like to someone who wasn’t there. Or someone that didn’t take it. Or, more to the point – the judges.
It reminds me when I was at school and I came first in the annual photographic competition. I took a picture of the Founders House (Floreat!) sundial THROUGH the key-hole of the arch doors. Seriously, that’s how easy it is. They took me very seriously. I told them it took me an hour to set the shot up. But, to be honest, I think I just got a newboy to do it.
The photographic competition ends on January 17. So you’ve got two days, my love.
