A picture of McCann just before her abduction.
Whoops. Not the smartest move there, VoucherDigg. When you’re advertising a discount trip to Portugal, a picture of a world famous kidnapped toddler is probably not your best bet.
As you might imagine, McCann’s parents are suitably pissed off, contacting an attorney to ensure that the picture – the last one ever taken of their daughter – is removed from the site. On the website, the picture is joined by the slogan “Take the ones you love and enjoy your life.”
Madeleine disappeared at the age of three during a family trip to Portugal five years ago. McCann has recently been in the news again, as her parents have decided to re-open her case and continue the search for their daughter.
The lesson here? Google Images is not always your friend.
