8 years following the events of The Dark Knight and the Joker (Heith Ledger), the terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy) comes to Gotham City, forcing it and its police service to their knees, crying out for its fallen dark knight, Batman, to return after taking the fall for Harvey Dent’s crimes.

It’s once again directed by Christopher Nolan (Inception), so you’re welcome to start guessing the plotline. You’ll be wrong.
