A lone gunman has opened fire on a Jewish school in Toulouse, France, this morning. Three people, of which two are children, are confirmed dead, with at least another two persons reported wounded.

The attack happened just as the children were busy arriving to school this morning, for the start of the school day. The French television network BFM said the dead included a school teacher, his six-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old school boy.

According to locals, the city has been placed on a lockdown while the police look for the gunman. He is described as riding a black scooter, and is suspected as being the same man who shot and killed three soldiers in the same area last week. Last week’s attacks also happened from a scooter. Police also state that similar ammunition was used in both attacks.
