Hectique. This is not the way you want to end your school skiing trip. A bus full of kids, travelling through a Swiss tunnel, hit a kerb and crashed face first into a wall inside the tunnel.

So far the death toll is around 28 – of which at least 22 are children. Most of the children on the bus were only 12 years old. At least a further two dozen children have been injured in the crash. It has been described by Swiss authorities as “the worst road traffic accident in Swiss history.”

The front of the bus has all but disintegrated. Horrible.
