Lindsay Lohan Nabs Liz Taylor Role – With One Condition

You've got to give it to celebrity train smash, Lindsay Lohan - she certainly knows how to turn a bad situation around. She's only gone and nabbed the role that nobody thought she'd get, playing Liz Taylor in an upcoming biopic. There is, however, one condition.

You’ve got to give it to celebrity train smash, Lindsay Lohan- she certainly knows how to turn a bad situation around. In between her appearances in court/rehab, missing her appearances in court/rehab and appearing at various Hollywood parties smashed off her face, Blohan has not only snared a gig hosting Saturday Night Live this week, but also the much-coveted role of Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming American TV-movie of the starlet’s tempestuous relationship with Richard Burton.

The likeness is incredible, and by that I mean I am literally incredulous.

You’ll recall a global wave of nausea earlier this year at the thought that the troubled actress was even in the running for the role, with the beloved Ms. Taylor only fresh in her tomb, or perhaps that was just the reaction to her much-hyped Playboy appearance. Well, she’s won the role, but producers have set her one condition for keeping it: she needs to follow the judge’s orders in her ongoing rehabilitation/community service saga to the letter, or she’s out.

I’m unsure what is going to prove the bigger challenge to Blohan, finding it in herself to play one of Hollywood’s most beloved starlets, or finding it in her to not screw up her chance to play one of Hollywood’s most beloved starlets. If she’s shown one thing, she is as likely to surprise us, as she is likely not to.
