Even better than yet another viewing of Love Actually

What better way to remind the love of your life that you’re thinking about them / want to completely eviscerate their personality than directing them to the world’s most popular search engine for this year’s sweet as sugar Valentines doodle, set to the lovely strains of recent Grammy Winner Tony Bennett crooning “Cold, Cold Heart” by Hank Williams?

“The animation alludes to that universality” of love, Michael “Lippy” Lipman, the Doodle’s animator, told reporters. “These characters are archetypes, with no dialogue, so it can play around the world.”

Ultimately the doodle reminds us that no matter how hard you might scour the internet for the perfect gift to demonstrate your love, sometimes the best gift is right before your eyes, or, watch as this woman manipulates and ultimately displaces the personality of this earnest young man with another of her own making, through her psycho-sexual dance and mind play. Cold hearted indeed!
