How to See When Someone Unfriends You on Facebook

Ah Facebook, the digital realm where artificial friendships are born and destroyed quicker than tequila's ability to turn a good night to regret. Everyone’s been there, you’re scrolling through your newsfeed when suddenly you realise that you’re no longer receiving Susan’s pictures of her adorable new puppy, or William’s hilarious updates. You don’t even have to make the effort of checking, you’ve been unfriended. With Mashable’s clever new script you’ll be spared the pain of similar discoveries and find out the moment someone decides to cut the cord.

Ah Facebook, the digital realm where artificial friendships are born and destroyed quicker than tequila’s ability to turn a good night to regret.

The boffins over at Mashable have discovered a spiffy new script called the Unfriend Finder, by Edouard Gatouillat. It allows you to see when someone unfriends you or deactivates their account in pretty much the same way you see when someone adds you. It also helps you to keep track of your friend requests so that you can avoid clicking “yes”, only to be one dishing out unfriends days later.

Check the gallery below, with handy descriptions, to see how to get it up and running on your system.

The script works with all major browsers and is a pretty neat addition to your social media monitoring management, go ahead, give it a go.
