A married female British prison guard swapped her keys for jail time after an OnlyFans romp with an inmate.
Linda De Sousa Abreu, a 30-year-old mom, and self-proclaimed expert in “poor life choices,” found herself sentenced to 15 months in the same kind of accommodations she once guarded.
Abreu, who runs an OnlyFans account, admitted to an affair with inmate Linton Weirich at London’s Wandsworth prison—an arrangement that went south when their steamy antics were caught on camera and promptly took a tour of the internet in June.
Andrew Davy, Wandsworth’s governor and now an expert in damage control, blasted Abreu at sentencing. He noted that she managed to destroy her professional reputation “in less than a day” while also inspiring inmates to treat other female guards as “fair game”, putting them at risk, per the NY Post.
“You engaged in sexual activity with a prisoner,” Judge Martin Edmunds KC told Abreu, who also runs an OnlyFans account.
“That compromised your role as an officer and was misconduct which undermines discipline within the prison and puts fellow officers at increased risk.”
The guard also admitted to having “oral sex” with another inmate on the same day she was recorded having sex with Weirich, the Guardian reports.
“You participated with evident enthusiasm,” the judge noted.
A Prison Service rep said Abreu’s arrest and conviction serve as a warning to any other prison staffers who may be breaking the law.
Abreu, clutching her Portuguese passport and perhaps a hint of regret, was arrested at Heathrow Airport while attempting a not-so-subtle getaway to Madrid. This bold move came after she called her employers to say she wouldn’t be back.
Despite staying mostly tight-lipped during the case, Abreu broke her silence over the summer—not to apologise, but to call out other OnlyFans performers who had been impersonating her and filming parodies of her infamous video, because apparently even viral infamy comes with its own set of copyright concerns.
