Gisele Bündchen was out and about strutting her stuff in Miami recently – and by that I mean she was showing off her baby bump, the child she is expecting with her newish boyfriend Joaquim Valente.

The 44-year-old supermodel’s outing came just days after a source confirmed to PEOPLE that she and the 36-year-old jiu-jitsu trainer are expecting their first child together, which is her third.

For over 10 years, Bündchen and Tom Brady were the picture-perfect celebrity couple. Then, in 2022, she and the New England Patriots quarterback, with whom she shares two children, announced they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage.

Bündchen shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with Brady. She is also stepmother to Brady’s son Jack, 17, whom Brady, 47, shares with ex Bridget Moynahan. Now she’s adding another baby in the mix.

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” the insider shared with the outlet.

It wasn’t so long ago that Bündchen was getting a little emotional about her divorce from Tom, widely understood to be because of his decision to choose the game over his family, announcing his un-retirement, reportedly against Bündchen’s wishes.

Bündchen and Valente were first spotted together in November 2022, just one month after her split from Brady, but an insider exclusively told Us Weekly that the pair’s relationship didn’t turn romantic until mid-2023.

“Joaquim was there for Gisele through her divorce, as a friend, and they turned romantic this past summer,” a source told Us in February, noting that Valente and Bündchen share “similar lifestyles” and are both “dedicated to fitness and nutrition.”

The insider explained to Us that Bündchen “loves being with someone who is from Brazil.”

“They both have a shared history that she hasn’t had with anyone she’s dated,” the source shared, adding that Valente is “amazing” with her kids.

When they were first spotted together, Bündchen was forced to clear up the rumours that she cheated on Tom with the jiu-jitsu trainer, telling The New York Times “That is a lie.”

“This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” Bündchen lamented. “They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

She declined to say what actually caused her and Brady, 46, to split, saying “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

At the time of the announcement, Tom noted that it was “painful and difficult” to choose to close a chapter with Bündchen.

“However, we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written,” he noted.

Looks like she has Tom’s blessings.
