Two women are reported to be missing after a farm attack took place in Eikenhof, near the Eye of Africa estate in Gauteng.
Mike Bolhuis from Specialised Security Services (SSS), told IOL that the attack is believed to have taken place between 10 PM on Friday and the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to Bolhuis, there have been no ransom requests or any contacts so far. The missing women were identified as Hester Flemming, 52, and Cecilia Johanna Flemming, 82.
“Suspects reportedly gained entry by cutting through the fence and breaking the security gate at the house.
“Once inside the house was ransacked, and the suspects stole two vehicles.”
One of the stolen vehicles was recovered in Thokoza early on Saturday morning, but the second vehicle, a metallic green Isuzu double cab LDV, registration CB01WRGP is still missing.
IOL contacted SAPS about the missing women, but have as yet not received any response. Anyone with any information can contact Bolhuis on 082 447 6116 or email mike@mikebolhuis.co.za.
