A seasoned air hostess has lifted the lid on the mile-high club, revealing the steamy secrets of what really went on behind closed doors during those wild, after-hours layovers.
With scandalous tales of flirtatious, and often married, airline staff indulging in forbidden rendezvous, the world of post-flight escapades just got a lot more intriguing.
Skye Taylor, 48, was a flight attendant for 17 years and just recently opened up about some of the steamiest layovers, with one place hitting the spot for ‘morally wrong’ crew to have orgies.
Daily Star reports that the mum of one quit after getting insomnia from the gruelling working hours, and said touching down in South Africa often led to married colleagues ditching their morals.

Speaking to the outlet, she said there were a “lot of affairs” that went on between crew and pilots.
“For some reason, it was always Johannesburg and I blamed it on the wine and lack of oxygen,” she laughed. “There was a mix of crews that stayed in the hotels and there definitely wasn’t a rivalry when it came to room parties. Some of the room parties were quite interesting.
“Things can get quite racy and there have been situations I have been in, one in Johannesburg, where it was getting a little too much for me. I kind of saw the door and ran. It was between one crew and another crew and I was like yeah… this is not for me.”
Skye was asked to clarify that it was in fact an orgy she had encountered.
She laughed: “Yeah [it was] the start of one and I don’t mind saying that because the manager on the flight was absolutely horrible to me anyway!”
The ex-cabin crew gal said that although she ended up quitting her career for a racier job, she maintained her professionalism in the sky.

She said this, however, was not always the case for colleagues who would “change” after bedding a pilot.
“I was particularly boring to be honest throughout my career. I never had an affair with a pilot and I never had a relationship with a pilot. I always found them to be gentlemen, maybe I was lucky, and I still have a lot of them who are good friends. Generally they would look after you and be very professional. But as in any job, you can imagine things happen.
She said she found that if someone got into a relationship with the pilot, they would very much change.
“I did see a lot of friends change and they would stop working almost on flights thinking they had been promoted to a manager’s position because of their relationship with a pilot or a captain and I found that very odd.”
She added, “… they feel they are more important and more in a hierarchy by sleeping with a pilot behind his family’s back. I found it very confusing because morally I wouldn’t behave how I saw some of the crew behave at work.”
She said the pilots she worked with were good-looking but not worth the drama, especially, she noted “when most of them have a family or a lot of them are on their second or third wife, it is crazy.”
