Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has been captured on camera helping to persuade a “distraught” woman to step away from the ledge of a bridge in Nashville.

The American singer was recording a music video for his band’s song ‘The People’s House’ on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge when he noticed the woman standing on the ledge.

CCTV footage shared by local police shows the crooner slowly approaching the distressed woman before leaning on the railings and talking to her.

Whatever he told her must have worked as Jon and the lady he was with could be seen helping the lady to safety before embracing. They then walked back down the bridge together.

As if we needed another reason to like Jon Bon.
