Ever since Netflix brought us Baby Reindeer everyone has been asking who the real Martha was, so it was only a matter of time before someone nailed the first interview.

It was perhaps also predictable that the officious Piers Morgan would be the one to track down Fiona Harvey for an exclusive interview to ‘have her say & set the record straight’.

With the byline “Is she a psycho stalker?”, the interview everyone has been waiting for is guaranteed to be as fascinating as it is exploitative.

Baby Reindeer follows writer and performer Richard Gadd’s warped relationship with a female stalker and the impact it has on him as he is ultimately forced to confront his own tortured past in a tale that is both poignant and horrific. If you haven’t seen the series yet, it’s worth watching before you sit down with Piers and Harvey to hear what the lady has to say.

Since the show hit the streaming service, Harvey said she is considering legal action to ‘right the wrongs of the show’ in which she claims that she is portrayed as a terrifying stalker. The ‘real’ Martha says she is ‘living in fear’ after internet sleuths sought her out and contacted her.

“Gadd and Netflix have portrayed this as a true story and now some little man in North Carolina giving me death threats believes it’s a true story. But I think you’d need to be really stupid to believe it is true.”

Piers and Harvey will be cashing in on her first public interview via his YouTube channel Piers Morgan Uncensored at 8PM tonight.

If the real Martha is anything like her character on the show, Piers may just regret giving Harvey all this attention. Then again, knowing him, he’s likely betting on it.
