All the celebs are forgetting key parts of their lives in order to make space for an Uber Eats order in this fun Super Bowl ad.
Fans of the iconic TV series Friends may find it hard to erase the memorable on-screen chemistry shared by Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, but when it comes to Uber Eats, apparently Jennifer can wipe out 10 years of memories just fine.
Indeed, the on-screen couple reunited for a truly hilarious Uber Eats Super Bowl Commercial, in which Aniston forgets who her on-again, off-again television boyfriend is.
It doesn’t stop there. Other A-list stars also forget things so that Uber Eats can rent space in their big ol’ brains. David and Victoria Beckham forget the name of the Spice Girls, Jelly Roll forgets how he got his face tattoos, and Usher forgets he’s performing the Super Bowl halftime show.
That’s a Super Bowl ad for you; bringing together a star-spangled cast to sell you something.
Aniston and Schwimmer famously played Rachel Greene and Ross Geller on Friends, who kept fans guessing for a decade as to whether or not the pair would end up together and happily ever after.
In fact, as Marie Claire notes, the on-screen couple had something of an off-screen romance at one point, too. In the highly anticipated cast reunion in 2021, the pair admitted that they both had massive crushes on each other while filming the show.
“It was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship, and we never crossed that boundary, you know, we respected that,” Schwimmer said at the time.
“Honestly, I remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s gonna be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television,'” Aniston added.
No matter what you forget so that you can remember something else, don’t let it slip your mind that Ross and Rachel were 100% on a break.
