Malawi Cane and Malawi Cane Interiors has been operating since 2010 and is the biggest global exporter of Malawi Cane furniture in the world. We also operate and sell Malawi cane and rattan products throughout South Africa online and our physical retail physical retail operation.
We operate under the websites Malawicane.com and malawichair.com
We have warehouses in Cape Town, our own trucks bringing in the cane and rattan products from Malawi and and a dedicated team handling everything from logistics and sales to quality control and packaging. Regular clients include private customers, decorators and game lodges like Royal Malewane and Singita.
Due to the generic nature of our business and brand name, a lot of copycats have appeared with almost identical brand names, posing as us and causing confusion in the market. These Malawi cane furniture companies have even gone as far as using our photographs.
Both regular and new customers of ours have fallen into this trap and have received poor service and inferior goods that have not undergone quality control, and have also not been fumigated, resulting in borer beetle infestation. This is often the reason why some items are more competitively priced. Much like the products you see sold on the side of the road.
