On 6 February 2023, a devastating earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale struck southern and central Turkey, toppling building and claiming thousands of lives.
At the time, social media was flooded with shaky videos that showed buildings collapsing and people frantically running from the chaos.
A viral video is now doing the rounds that show the earthquake from a unique angle, and it really brings the horror of the event to life.
The video is from a camera that was mounted on a cargo ship in the Port of Iskenderun, and at first, it looks like most of the videos that have been released, until you realise that the ship itself is standing quite still.
The movement you see is the actual landmass heaving to and fro next to the boat.
