The Sopranos star Drea de Matteo has revealed that she has been selling saucy pics on OnlyFans due to losing out on acting gigs after she refused to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

51-year-old Matteo decided to launch a profile on the X-rated website after work dried up following the pandemic. Matteo charges $15 dollars for a subscription to her page and has been using her Instagram page to promote her profile.

Drea launched her profile in August 2023 and has addressed the backlash she received by not getting vaccinated.

“I know some people have said nasty things about me having joined OnlyFans, but, you know, the way we see it in this house is ‘Mommy’s a warrior,’ not accepting defeat.” She continued, “I am a very big supporter of stay-at-home moms and women who really love to raise their children. I balanced it all and I’ve done it all.”

Following the backlash to not getting vaccinated, Mateo says she realised she would have to switch careers.

“My own industry thinks I’m a savage.”

Things got so bad for the actress that she lost her house and was even dropped by her agent. She branded herself a “bad girl” because she “didn’t follow the rules a couple of years ago” and “didn’t want to be at the mercy of mandates or strikes or anything like that ever again”.

Although she received a lot of negativity, Drea has received dedicated support from her family.

Her boyfriend Robby Staebler, from the band All Them Witches, and her children, are all behind Drea’s decision to start up an OnlyFans account. The actress said that her children encouraged her to launch the site and her daughter even said she would “edit the pictures too”.

Matteo starred as Adriana La Cerva in The Sopranos between 1999 and 2006. The series, which is widely regarded as one of the best television shows of all time, saw her take on the role which won her an Emmy back in 2004.

Seems like opening an OnlyFans account is less controversial than some of the horror stories that come from Hollywood, so good on her.
